I am pretty desperate for a rear cylinder for my veteran Douglas 1917 2 3/4hp "W" model.   I there is anyone who may have one of these that can be re-sleeved or know where I may find one I would be very pleased for the help.  I have a number of engine parts that I can exchange such as matching crankcases, conrods, crankshaft, flywheel etc. Any help appreciated.

Does anyone have the specifications for the oil inlet valve spring for early 2 3/4 engines - Part number 424.   I have tried to order one from the club spares but apparently Jeff Swan is indisposed at the moment.

Hi, trying to post items for sale and get the above error. Any advice please?
Thanks.

Dave

Hi Bernie,

The HTTP 500 error message generally indicates a problem with the server rather than something with your computer or internet connection.
However, you were able to post the message above OK. So maybe whatever caused the message to appear when posting in the For Sale forum has now disappeared.
Could you try again please?

Thanks Dave, I get the message " there is already an attachment with the same file name. rename the file and try again" Will I need to save the pictures somewhere else and rename them then? In the meantime, I'll try to list something else.
Cheers,
Bernie

Hi Bernie,

"there is already an attachment with the same file name. rename the file and try again"

Yes, this message just means someone else has uploaded an attachment with the same name. So just rename your files by sticking something additional on the end.
eg an image called "IMG_1234.jpg" gets renamed to IMG_1234x.jpg".

Then try attaching that.

If that doesn't work and the error message persists, just post the text of your message in the forum where you want it and send your photos to the address shown in this topic.
I will see your message appear in the forum and then add the photos to your post.
