I am pretty desperate for a rear cylinder for my veteran Douglas 1917 2 3/4hp "W" model.   I there is anyone who may have one of these that can be re-sleeved or know where I may find one I would be very pleased for the help.  I have a number of engine parts that I can exchange such as matching crankcases, conrods, crankshaft, flywheel etc. Any help appreciated.

Does anyone have the specifications for the oil inlet valve spring for early 2 3/4 engines - Part number 424.   I have tried to order one from the club spares but apparently Jeff Swan is indisposed at the moment.

We are changing servers this Monday, 1st November.

You will not need to do anything on your PC, there will just be a short interruption to service.

At 00:00, Monday 1st November (GMT), the forum on the current server will close. You will see a message like this displayed.

The forum on the new server will be open within an hour of the close on the old server – most likely within about 30 minutes.

However it can take anything from 1 minute to 48 hours for the re-direction to the new server to be propagated around the world. This means you may continue to see the message above on the old server for up to 2 days - although 2 days is unlikely – it normally takes less than 24 hours.

When the normal home page appears again (below), you will be seeing the new server and can post again as normal.

No data will be lost in the move, all photos preserved, all your PM's preserved, email addresses will remain the same and the forum software (how you post and read messages) will remain unchanged. The only thing you may need to do, is to log in again using your usual Member name and password.

If you do not see the normal home page on the new server after 1 day, please try reloading the page by holding down the control key with one finger and pressing F5 with the other.

If you are not seeing the new server after 2 days, please contact me using this temporary email address (obsolete email address removed).

If you have any questions before the move, please post below, email or PM me using the links underneath my avatar in the left hand column.
