1930 S6 brakes

I am making progress with my restoration from an 80% pile of bits and now trying to solve missing bits on the brakes.
Can any one let have a picture or drawing or details of the bit(s) that hold the brake actuating arm to the brake shoe bobbin and the back plate?

Now I look more carefully I am still missing a part.
My spool piece on the brake shoe has a clean 0.25 hole and I guess the new bolt is also a 0.25 and goes through.
I need something to screw into and thus locate and retain the assembly to the back plate.  I only a 0.25 clearance between the spool and the back of the drum.

Any thoughs or picytures anyone?

Hi Michael,

The bolt is quarter inch bsf 26tpi, and the back of the spool ought to have a female thread to match. Can't explain why yours should have a "clean" hole straight through.

Michael,

Someone drilled through the bobbin. Perhaps they were switching the bobbin from one hand into the other. I have seen bobbins where the hole in the center had been filled with weld and re-drilled and tapped, and you can do the same to repair yours.
