I am pretty desperate for a rear cylinder for my veteran Douglas 1917 2 3/4hp "W" model.   I there is anyone who may have one of these that can be re-sleeved or know where I may find one I would be very pleased for the help.  I have a number of engine parts that I can exchange such as matching crankcases, conrods, crankshaft, flywheel etc. Any help appreciated.

Does anyone have the specifications for the oil inlet valve spring for early 2 3/4 engines - Part number 424.   I have tried to order one from the club spares but apparently Jeff Swan is indisposed at the moment.

Hi! Newbie here, looking for the above, attended in previous years, have I missed it for 2007?
Thought it might be tomorrow, so started search, that's how I found you.  :)

Doug

You may have missed it this year if you did not find the information in time. It is always held on the Sunday-Monday of the May bank holiday weekend, this year being the 27-28. The dates are also posted in the 'The Club, Latest News' section of the London Douglas Motor Cycle Club website, home page here-

If you like fair weather then perhaps it was just as well you missed it, as it unfortunately rained most of Sunday. Monday was threatening but dry for the most part, though it is the quieter of the two days. Despite that, quite a number turned out and braved the rain. However had it been sunny the turn out would have been phenomenal, I believe entries were received for upwards of 140 machines.

Some pictures of the event here here sent in by Roy.
