I am pretty desperate for a rear cylinder for my veteran Douglas 1917 2 3/4hp "W" model.   I there is anyone who may have one of these that can be re-sleeved or know where I may find one I would be very pleased for the help.  I have a number of engine parts that I can exchange such as matching crankcases, conrods, crankshaft, flywheel etc. Any help appreciated.

Does anyone have the specifications for the oil inlet valve spring for early 2 3/4 engines - Part number 424.   I have tried to order one from the club spares but apparently Jeff Swan is indisposed at the moment.

Hi there, I am suffering from a slipping clutch on my Dragonfly. I have tried the adjustment procedure to no avail. Could someone please tell me a company or individual that would be able to fit a new clutch, and give me an indication of what it might cost.

All help gratefully received

49 views, someone must be able to help! Google is drawing a blank on "Douglas specialists"

The internet is a wonderful thing, but there is only a certain amount of advice that can be given. This subject has already been covered on this forum - try attending an LDMCC clubnight - there will be older members there who are not computer orientated, but can give much valuable advice. Unfortunately, Douglas is one of the less common makes, and subsequently has few specialists - members often carry out there own repairs with guidance/assistance from longer standing fellow owners.

Hi Blingrims,
As Eddie says these questions come up regularly, however, search 'clutch' in the search box top right hand corner and you will get pages of results. Somewhere in there you should find the answers you need.
