I am pretty desperate for a rear cylinder for my veteran Douglas 1917 2 3/4hp "W" model.   I there is anyone who may have one of these that can be re-sleeved or know where I may find one I would be very pleased for the help.  I have a number of engine parts that I can exchange such as matching crankcases, conrods, crankshaft, flywheel etc. Any help appreciated.

Does anyone have the specifications for the oil inlet valve spring for early 2 3/4 engines - Part number 424.   I have tried to order one from the club spares but apparently Jeff Swan is indisposed at the moment.

Does anybody know if such a thing as a parts list exists for DT Douglas models, or better still, has one that I can get a copy of? I have recently acquired a DT longstoke engine that has been dismantled to every last nut and bolt, many years ago, and I want to see if there is anything missing. I've laid out the bits to see what I can make of it, and can see a couple of obvious bits not there, but with so many little fittings it's a bit hard to determine what else might not be there. Help please!
Cheers, Graeme

Graeme,

Yes Douglas did print a DT spares list. In fact one was just sold on eBay (eBay item 140241324499). But photocopies abound, and J. Withers does a reprint. The DT spares list is not illustrated, and if you go through it, you will find a few items got overlooked and omitted! While it is undated, it is listed as a K29 spares list, so one can assume it is for 1929. Appropriately it lists the part number for the tall airbox, and no mechanical oil pump.
