FT35 crank pinion removal

Hi,

I wonder if someone could suggest the best way to remove the inner crank pinion in the timing chest on a FT35/T35?

I've seen the Triumph tool with 3 jaws and a sleeve that screws down to clamp the jaws under the back of the pinion, but don't know if it's the right size for this engine.
