I am pretty desperate for a rear cylinder for my veteran Douglas 1917 2 3/4hp "W" model.   I there is anyone who may have one of these that can be re-sleeved or know where I may find one I would be very pleased for the help.  I have a number of engine parts that I can exchange such as matching crankcases, conrods, crankshaft, flywheel etc. Any help appreciated.

Does anyone have the specifications for the oil inlet valve spring for early 2 3/4 engines - Part number 424.   I have tried to order one from the club spares but apparently Jeff Swan is indisposed at the moment.

I have acquired a Douglas genset (engine No FT35/1/2235 and I'm looking for some information about it e.g. year etc. I understand it was originally used in WW2 on a RAF base and was used to start aircraft. It was used more recently to power a small engineering workshop.
I am thinking of selling it and wondered if anyone on the forum would be interested? It looks to be mainly original although the magneto has been swapped out / converted to coil ignition (sadly I do not have the original magneto). It has compression albeit quite low approx. 60PSI (not sure if that's normal for this engine) it holds the pressure OK. It's not running as I do not have the time or knowledge to attempt to get it running.
Any thoughts with regards to its value would also be appreciated.  I have attached some photo's (it's on a wooden crate to make it easier to photograph) that shows its condition and the fact that it's complete with starting handle, carburettor, fuel tank, exhaust and rather substantial base... It's located in Hampshire near Andover.
