My OC has a mechanical oil pump which sucks oil through the drip feed. It has a hand pump and a direct outlet from the oil tank which both feed into the input side of the drip feed. This is quite a complex arrangement with two way tap, etc. My question is, will the had oil pump allow oil to be sucked out through it ? If so the I can blank off the other hole in the oil tank and have a very much simplified system. I can' t see why it wouldn't - unless the leather washers put too much force on the side of the body.
