1927 EW 350 TANK COLOURS
«

Hello all. Can someone help regarding paint colours for my EW 350.
I have read previous posts but the colours suggested are difficult to find.
I have looked at lots of EWs and there always seems to be a variation, probably due to peoples interpretation.
Does anybody know of modern and easily available paints which are available in the UK.
Many thanks, Colin.

Colin,
Some suppliers may not be able to mix the Rootes Oxford Blue suggested by Chris due to one of the pigments being no longer available. An alternative is British Standard Oxford Blue - in fact, from the swatches, I couldn't tell the difference!
Regards,
Eddie.

Many thanks Kevin and Eddie, Will search harder for the colours, but still can't find the Vauxhall Sebring Silver on the net.
Regards, Colin.

Hi Colin
If you go to any good automotive paint shop they will be able to mix the paint and supply either in quantity for gun spraying or in aerosol cans. My usual paint shop was bought out and closed a couple of years ago by a larger concern a few miles further away. So the last batches I bought are from the new firm. They were immediately able to identify the colours I required and mixed them while I waited. I had blue supplied in a litre can for spraying my sidecar and both blue and silver supplied in aerosol cans for painting petrol tanks. The only difference was a price increase of about 60% over my old supplier. Chris.
