Many thanks to 'Roys Rider' for sending in these photos and information about his handsome black/silver Dragonfly.

He notes "The machine was sent to Pride and Clark in late 1956 and sold in 1957 with a London registration number. My father bought it in the early 1970s as a reference for his project to build a brand new one from Club spares. That came about from a friend of mine bragging about the Club spares stock. They couldn't find a new crankshaft, so he wasn't able to build the bike. When my father died in 1979, all his Douglas bits came to me. I refurbished the black/silver one in 1984 and it was given an age related number. Those club spares are now a complete bike - the immaculate cream/green machine. I had to have everything resprayed, however the tank in the photo is an original."
