BIG Cleanout of Douglas Projects / Parts
« on: 30 Jan 2023 at 21:17 »
Hi all,

I've come to the realization I have too many projects and there are some things that I haven't been making traction on for over 5 years now so I'd like to liquidate these assets in the near future. Some items are in Melbourne Australia at my brothers house, some are in New Zealand around 6 hours drive from me, so I'll get some photos together and a full list of what's available in more detail in the coming weeks. This post is more to put it out there, and gauge some interest.

Parts wise I have:

* 5x Frames (TS/CW), from memory 1907 - 1925 in date range. I will supply frame numbers when possible.
* 2x Sets of old rims, hubs etc. They have surface rust but could be cleaned up.
* 3x Engine projects (TS/CW), 2 of which are complete, 1 requires some further parts. I will supply engine numbers when possible.
* Some fork bits, but nothing complete.
* Miscellaneous engine components.
* No handlebars, tanks, seats, magnetos or guards.

Project wise I have:

*Douglas EW600. I have the frame, engine cases (including timing cover), 2x gearboxes. I have contact details of a chap that has the required engine internals etc. A forum member messaged me some time ago with some spare rusted out tanks, and knows somebody who is capable of manufacturing a tank. Obviously it's very much a project, but a rare one at that so I want this to go in one piece rather than break up. The major bits to find are really forks and wheels, everything else tends to come up fairly often (acetylene lights etc).

Non-Douglas related:

* I also have a 1929 Triumph CN project, complete but basket case state.

Please let me know if there is some interest in the community before I ebay these bits.

Thanks!!!!

KARRI I would be interested in the TS parts as I have a frame gearbox and wheels. Are they in Melbourne or NZ. Cheers

Hi Tom,
I'm looking for a pair of forks for a 1920 23/4 hp. If they are still available, would you be interested in shipping to the UK?
Thanks,
Roger

The triumph has gone, but all other parts are still available..

I will be out bush for the next 2 weeks and no phone reception.

I'll probably start listing things on ebay when I get back.
