I would like to thank members of the forum who helped out with some bits while the prewar spares is not operating so that I can get my 2 3/4 up and running in time for the Australian Douglas Rally next month. On the last dpuglas rally I destroyed a big end and did significant damage to the crankcases. I have managed to recover the original cases and have started puting it together.
One question - its ages since I have done a 2 3/4 - I am using new JP pistons I have had sitting in the shed for years. What ring gap should I use ?
