Have you tried the new Drafts feature yet? I just lost a long message today and learned my lesson. It is a good idea to save a draft of any long post you are writing. You can then just keep writing and keep saving a draft, knowing you have a backup if there is a glitch. The draft is automatically deleted when you post the message.

Does anyone know the thread size / connector size for the AMAC carb bowl?

Mine came with a rigged "adapter" and is leaking.

Hi Tim,

Looks like 9/16" (0.557") 26tpi Whitworth thread form to me on the one I have.

Hope this helps,

Cheers

Morning all, I have only last week cleaned out a nut to 9/16 x26tpi whit and that fits a treat ( pure luck I had a tap ). I bought a couple of nuts from PVN Racing Vincent,But they would not go on to the Douglas type amac bowl with the fitting integral with the bowl. However the pvn fitting would go on to the amac bowl I have with a screwed in fitting. I have asked Pvn what size he has made his threads but as yet have not heard back.
Hope this helps

thank you Hutch!

Jonathan, any sources for one other than possibly racing vincent?

Tim, can you not separate your rigged nut and use that

I think I have it working now, I made a mistake on the thread size.
