wanted timing gear wheel
« on: 02 Jul 2022 at 19:17 »
I have a 1926 350 EW without a pancake dynamo the gear that drives the magneto (the top gear of the timing gears) via a tapered centre  has lost some teeth.
I am told that the centre of the gear is removable and same gear outer is used on the EW and other Cams  the gear may be marked L or R
I am looking for a suitable replacement

Having read that I am confused (even more) about the centre or solid gear  here is a photo of my much worn gear
