Have you tried the new Drafts feature yet? I just lost a long message today and learned my lesson. It is a good idea to save a draft of any long post you are writing. You can then just keep writing and keep saving a draft, knowing you have a backup if there is a glitch. The draft is automatically deleted when you post the message.

Complete and original exhaust system, believed for a late 1920s model. This has been unused since the early 1950s and appears to have been chrome plated from new. The silencer and front header pipe are in remarkably good condition for their age, the rear header / centre section has some pitting and dents, as shown. Please contact me if you would like other pictures or dimensions.

Dear Andrew,
The system you have appears to be from a sv Douglas?? The silencer would suit my SW5, would you be prepared to sell it separately please?
Could I have the dimensions of the silencer please?

Hi Roger,
Definitely side-valve - the header pipes are similar to those on my A31. I've had several enquiries about the parts and I'm afraid they're now sold. Thanks for your interest, though, and I hope you find a suitable silencer for the SW5.
