Have you tried the new Drafts feature yet? I just lost a long message today and learned my lesson. It is a good idea to save a draft of any long post you are writing. You can then just keep writing and keep saving a draft, knowing you have a backup if there is a glitch. The draft is automatically deleted when you post the message.

The progress of restoring a 1926 Douglas EW model is a long process as no doubt many before me have discovered.   I am looking for the drive nut for the oil worm drive . This nut threads onto the timing end of the crank which is a 1/2 inch thread and 20 tpi. The nut on my motor was welded on and had to ground off for removal and hence its damaged  If anyone has a spare available it would be appreciated or even had one made information on the steel would be useful. Attached are photos of the nut.  Cheers Doug
