Dragonfly Igntion Timing

Hi just refurbished a electrical system on a 56 dragonfly. Does anyone have a manual on how to set ignition timing?

The original reccomendation was to start with a static setting of 5 degrees BTDC, however that was for the fuel of the day, and with a new advance/retard unit. I would suggest you start at 5 degrees BTDC and then experiment until you find the 'sweet spot' where the engine runs the smoothest - the fully advanced setting being more important than the static one.

  Regards,
                Eddie.

Thanks Eddie, have you a manual or more detailed description how to set timing?

Are their static timing marks somewhere?
