Could we try this at the Club's Annual Rally at Stow over the weekend of the 4th/5th September. Any volunteers?

I think all the smoke is so the opposition can't see the ball!

Roy,
I have always advocated restricting the camping/caravans at the Annual rally to the centre pitch - then we could hold competitive events on the lower pitch, with all participants signing a disclaimer. We could then hold a motoball event - I'm up for it, if you are!  Hopefully, we'll have a northerly wind, so that the smoke doesn't affect the A436 !!!

   Regards,
                 Eddie.

Hi Eddie

Sorry I only said that with tongue in cheek. I think the Club's Public Liability insurers would have a fit . They are difficult enough with the very minor events we run at the moment. Sadly Health and Safety has put pay to many of the things we have done in the past.  Look forward to meeting up at the rally.

Surely one of the most difficult problems to overcome would be finding some brave soul to run around in the middle of it all with a whistle, (which no one can hear anyway).

Dunno about running  and dont know football rules as such but quite happy to stand in the middle - after all used to stand on a live track waving a chequered flag coming past me at around 100 -140 mph......no safety barriers just using eyes, ears and common sense

Live sessions of Moto Football were held on Sunday 15th August to entertain the crowds at Brooklands Museum. These were provided by a Moto Football Club. The occasion was a Motorcycle Show Day when the test hill was also open in the afternoon.

These are stated to have been in July

Beats me why they don't all end up in a heap on the ground.
But maybe thats where the skill comes into it !
