Have you tried the new Drafts feature yet? I just lost a long message today and learned my lesson. It is a good idea to save a draft of any long post you are writing. You can then just keep writing and keep saving a draft, knowing you have a backup if there is a glitch. The draft is automatically deleted when you post the message.

Dear All
What do you think about thisdouglas project?   In my opinion front fork and wheel is not from this bike .  I will be grateful for some honest opinion.
Best regards Artur

Yes you'd expect the fork springs to be on the outside.

These 4hp machines are quite a beastie, not come across them much before.

graeme

Definitely not the correct forks and front wheel. It would be interesting to find out what the frame and engine numbers are, only because the 3 blue panels on the petrol tank suggest it may be earlier than 1917

Thank you gents for answers and help.
