s6 pistons
« on: 20 May 2021 at 09:16 »
My name is dave Helliwell known to the Panther club as Fingertip.I am rebuilding a T 6 and hope to use it to accompany some M100 combos to the POC intertnational rally in Slovenia next year.
I could do with new pistons. Are there alternatives. Rover pistons have cured M100s thirst for oil .This must have been done. Also are gasket sets available or does everyone make their own.In which case what is the best material for a head joint?

Hi Dave

Late reply, sorry. I have sourced pitons for my S6 from JP Pistons in Adelaide, South Australia. Head gaskets are available from Rod Lloyd of LloydHansa Pty Ltd in the UK

Cheers, Graeme
