Dragonfly of despair strange thread size
« on: 14 Mar 2021 at 15:28 »
Can someone help identify the thread size for the front wheel bearing carrier (British hub) for my Dragonfly. it looks like 3/4"diameter 25tpi but I can't find any standard nuts to fit my wheel Closest I can find is metric M19x1.0. but that just seems wrong

Andy,
According to a drawing I have, the thin nut for the front wheel bearing sleeve has a 3/4" x 26tpi thread (British Standard Cycle Thread). The drawing also shows an obsolete part number (M0073) used by the LDMCC spares scheme - so they used to stock them.

  Regards,
                 Eddie.

Thanks Eddie, there would certainly be a lot of dead Douglases without your wealth of knowledge.  :D
