Hi Veikko,

Not really my thing, but amongst the AMAL info I have collected is List D374 "AMAL TT Carburettors, for racing on all fuels", from about 1949. It describes the period 15TT9 and 10TT9 carbs in some detail. Nothing specific to the 90 Plus, and since the available petrol was 80 octane the settings in the attached table are probably nonsense!

Could you buy a 90 Plus with TT carbs, or was it left to the owner to fit them?

Cheers

Leon

Hello Leon

Many thanks your Amal-table. I have parts from two 90+ bikesl, that are imported to Finland. One of them have been full race spec: alloy heads and barrels, big alloy petrol tank, alloy rims race mag. etc. I got  only one Amal TT15 with it. It`s long neck, 7/8" bore, 107 needle jet, and 220 main jet, exact same, than your table!! (Also I have two TT15 carb, short neck, 15/16" bore. I got them from my friend, maybe them have been Triumph T100 model race kit.)

Regards Veikko
