Dragonfly clutch

Hi all looking for some info on a Dragonfly clutch i have just connected my clutch cable to my bike but there seams to be not enough pressure to return the clutch arm back to it rest position it only goes totally home when i push my clutch leaver back to its start position,
anyone have any ideas what this might be.

Kevin,
           There should be a return spring about 1/4" dia x 3" long on the bottom of the cable. If that is already fitted, try re-oiling the cable. If that doesn't remedy the problem, wait until you are ready to run the engine - the rotation of the flywheel will help to return the cable.

Hi Eddie i have just noticed that the return spring is missing do you have any ideas where i might get one from as there is no part number in the Dragonfly parts book.

Hi Kevin,
               The return spring is not listed as a separate part, so has no part number. When we operated the LDMCC spares scheme, we had a batch of springs manufactured and then we supplied them to our manufacturer of cables (as they always wanted to fit larger, stronger springs). You could try the spares scheme and enquire whether they have any remaining in stock.
