T35 worn fork link surface
« on: 15 Feb 2021 at 15:17 »
On my t35 are the fork link surfaces are worn.
I have tried to "seal" the  oil seal with water pump grease, but with no total success.
I have read in the forum of a repair with glueing a shim to the worn link surface, but I can not find the informations with the detail. I remember Eddie has written it??

Who can give me please an advise?

Michael

After reading up via the search engine (always the best first action) I bought some shim stock cut it up with scissors and araldited it in position I was also minded to try some modern 'edge seals' but did not  think the ones I bought were any improvement  on the O rings. the proof of the pudding will be in the eating.
