Hello, I am John and have recently started restoring a Douglas.  The bike is from 1924/25 and the motor earlier 1914/15. It came to me in boxes some years ago and it has finally come up on the project list to put the puzzle together. I have recently joined the Douglas club and have gotten some good books and other pieces of information. I live in northern California and other Douglas bikes do not seem to exist in this area. I have seen only one other so far, and a few years ago.  So while I will be looking for a few parts a lot of what I will be hoping for will be information. I have actually already gotten some good information from earlier posts and am learning (slowly) about these machines.  Thanks for the help I know will be out there for me.  John
