are the t35 mark 1 and mark 3 and /or 4 interchangable..thanks

Mark 1 heads and barrels are different from the later models.

so to use later heads would have to replace the barrels as well

Yes, you need to change everything - heads, barrels, pistons, valve gear, pushrods and rocker covers!
