Lining on 1930 350cc H3 petrol tank
« on: 18 Jan 2020 at 15:31 »
I restoring a 1930 H3 and would like to get advice.

I has still the original paint ont the chromed petrol tank, with black panel and a 12mm stripe around the tank side also in black.
I can not identify the stripe around the black panel.

Has someone the knowledge of it and can please help with informations?

Michael

This Swedish 1930 H3 was on Car & Classic recently.
Said to be original paint on a chrome tank as the deluxe model.

If you zoom in on a smallish pic, the outer line looks to be black also ?
Have fun with your resto !

Ron,

thanks for the respone. The bike on photo is nearly in the same condition as mine.
The panel looks complete black (no extra lining)   and a seperate black  lining around the tanks side.
