Hi I have a Douglas 2 3/4hp 1920. Does anyone know what size wheels it should have so I can look into getting some made.

Hi John, is it a TS or CW? Most probably you will need 26" rims. You can obtain from Vintage Rims in QLD Australia.

A little closer to Burntwood I believe that you can get new beaded edge rims from Richards Bros in South Wales - www.richards-bros.com.

Hi again John,
I have a 1924 SW24 which is basically a TS with a flywheel clutch and Kickstarter.
It has 26 x 2 1/2 beaded edge tyres on 26 x 2 1/4 rims.
Hope this helps.

What other parts are you looking for?
If you’re a member of the LDMCC have you approached the Spares Secretary re: your needs?

Keep your spirits up John!

Wheels can be fun, and you can do them yourself if you want to. Of course you can get someone to build them for you, but this is (a) expensive and (b) no fun at all. Happy to walk you through it if you decide to build them yourself.

Have you got hubs?

Cheers

Leon

As a starter for ten I’d have a look at Bert Pol’s website. He has a number of remanufactured items for 2 3/4s.

Hope this helps.
