DRAGONFLY TANK REMOVAL

Hi, Im trying to remove the tank from my Dragonfly, but am struggling a bit.

I have removed the petrol connections and the four bolts that hold the tank onto the frame, and alhough the tank is loose I cant get it off because the headlight nacelle is bolted to the tank, and the headlight nacelle is prevented from coming off the tank because it fouls on all sorts of other parts of the bike. I can see the four bolts holding the nacelle on, but cant get a spanner near them.

Anyone know the trick of how to get round this?

No trick It is just awkward, I use a cut down ring spanner, small increments to slacken then hopefully just fingers.

Thanks! Now I know how its done, I'll just have to get on with it and get the job done

I use a socket with a long extension but you do need to use a universal joint to get an angle. Less painful than knuckle scratching.
