Can anyone recommend a company they have experience with to ship a Douglas engine from Western Australia to Canada?  It would be good to know if the company can also provide packaging assistance if it turns out to be needed.

Thanks in advance, Gord

Classic Style arraigned for a shipper for me. I would recommend a double crate, these port guys drive forklifts around like crazy, and crates fly off forklifts, and they get run into as well.

Crate the motor up real good with lots of tight packing materiel, then put it in a larger crate with 3-4 inches all around your original crate.

If this was lets say a Suzuki GS1000 motor, I'd say not, but I bet we are talking about something alot less common.
