Side stand for E28 / EW600
« on: 26 May 2019 at 01:25 »
I am looking at setting up a side stand for my 600 so I can use it while going through some medical issues. Has anyone done this ? Any ideas welcome as to how best to achieve.

A little pricey perhaps but here is a link to Vintele side stands meant for vintage bikes: http://www.vintele.co.uk/prices-contact/

That looks interesting. Wonder how it would work in withe the footboard location.

I think it may fit further back than the foot boards.

Hi Ian,
Not sure of the frame set up of an EW but my T6 had this arrangement when I bought it. It works quite well. There is a long spring through the sidecar mount tube which keeps light tension on the stand. I lean down, pull the stand free from the short spigot hole and it drops down. The bike is quite stable on Flat ground.
