t6 grips

good afternoon, have just received handlebar grips from the club for my t6, would be very grateful if any one could let me know where  I can get the metal chrome o rings that locate each side of the grips many thanks Derek morgan

    This is a long shot, but the post war spares dept. used to have those end rings. It was a heck of a long time ago when Dave Wilson was in charge of the spares.

Those chrome rings were for the straight pull twistgrip used on the early postwar T35's. They were solid rings, whereas I think the prewar ones were split with a clamp screw.

many thanks Richard and eddie for your reply, had one chrome ring left on handlebar which was solid and came up with the idea of hacksawing the end off of chrome cork screw , hooking the plastic insert out and looks good regards Derek morgan
