I´m working on a MK5 and have to fit the bolts for the torsion bar links in the brackets in the swinging arm.
I wonder about fitting it the hexagon head from gearbox side or reverse?
On my MK1 it is fitted reverse - from wheel axle side (not so nice to put grease in the nipples).
When I try on the MK5 the bolts won´t fit the bores from gearbox side with the shanks, only the thread passes.
Is it the wrong way or shall I ream up the bore?
