Have you tried the new Drafts feature yet? I just lost a long message today and learned my lesson. It is a good idea to save a draft of any long post you are writing. You can then just keep writing and keep saving a draft, knowing you have a backup if there is a glitch. The draft is automatically deleted when you post the message.

Hi Everybody. 'm fitting a miller switch new to the bike.
It has the park/emergency/off/Ign & charge/head/Pilot positions
I've removed the Miller Switch front and need to confirm the orientation before re-fitting.
What moulded switch text faces forward on the bike?
What moulded contact number aligns with this?
The wiring diagram shows the contact numbers from the underside.
Many thanks

I started with a clearer head this morning.
It could be that the switch could be in any orientation because it rotates in the headlamp shell.
But a logical orientation could be :-
The moulded OFF position towards the LEFT of the bike looking forwards.
The moulded terminal number 8 corresponding to the moulded off position.
Does this sound correct?
Many thanks.
ps the switch and the bike needs to be completely re-wired, which is why I want to cross check the wiring at every stage.

On my dragonfly the Off location points forwards as you describe.

That's what I'll do then.
Just for information.
I didn't have the correct switch knob for the Dragonfly switch.
So have modified a large knob,  which was originally on a 3 position BSA switch on the bike.
So it fits the brass slotted shaft of the Dragonfly switch.
It looks very good.
No innuendo's intended!
Thanks Andy1303
