Running in 90+
« on: 11 Aug 2018 at 18:42 »

Running in my 90+ Rep. Bike is in standard trim (Mk series pistons). 276 carbs with standard jets, needles all set as per the manual at this stage. Bike starts and runs OK. Did about 10 miles this evening, gentle flat roads (about 18 degrees C) when everything locked up, engine stopped. Clutch in and coasted to a halt. Quick check, nothing externally obvious. The check took about 5 mins, the bike then started and ran fine the 5 miles back home. At home the clutch appears to be dragging a bit but otherwise nothing obvious.

Is this likely to be heat, tight engine, unleaded fuel related? Any advice welcome!
