Douglas G32

Hello, my name is Tim John from Hamburg/Germany.

I had different motorbikes all my life,(matchless, Triumph, etc.)  but with one eye i allways watched the douglas. Especially the Dirt Track Modells are soo nice!
Now, as got older, i look for something, i can get old with. I want to rebuild the Harry Huntly Track racer and make it
street legal. I know, al lot of you guys will cry now, but i promise, i will not cut anything on this bike/frame.
My idea is to let it be totally original, but just unscrew every part i don´t need, so it can get back original easily!
Now i was offered a G32 Modell in good restored condition and i just wonder, if this is the right base for Huntlys Motorbike rebuild.
What do you thing, is it the right model, is it durable to do journeys over 14 days (of course for this age there are normal daily/weekly/monthly check ups!)
What are the weak points, what do i have to look for, when i buy, i just mean engine/gearbox/Carburator wise.
