Question about T6
« on: 19 Dec 2017 at 15:58 »
Hello Douglas driver
I am currently restoring a T6 and we are faced with a riddle!
is it correct that the neutral position is between 2nd and 3rd gear?
I have to make the detent unit myself, and doubt has come.
Regards

Hi Manfred,

do you go with a 3 - speed box?
I have thought you had a 4 speed.
Sorry, my bike is on 4 speed, so I donīt know.
Manfred, you had sended me a 1930 T6 / S6 catalogue (in German) with dates of the bikes.
Do you have this also for 350cc L3 H3 B31 models?

Michael

Hi Michael

I had a 4Speed installed, but it broke during the last drive.
Now I want to install the original 3speed.
For 350er I have unfortunately no documents.

Regards Manfred

Manfred,

Neutral is between first and second. First gear is all the way forward.

OK, I have other motorcycles with fuel circuits, this is the first one up.
