Hi
    I am restoring a MK5 I need to know how the front mounting bracket for the tank fits onto the frame.
It appears to have a rubber mounting tube through the frame and three holes in the mounting plate. Can anyone give me the dimensions for this plate as I wish to make a new plate. Maybe you have a member who lives in the Buckinghamshire area with whom I can compare notes.

Not sure about a mounting plate Phil. Mine has two lugs attached to the tank. Each with three holes. The attached may be helpful.
