90+ frontwheel in fork

I have problems to assemble the 90+ frontwheel to the fork.
May be  there is a mistake with the bearing tube, srewed in the hub the wrong way?

There is not space enough for hub and mudguard holder between the fork links.

I send a photo of the wheel, when I got it before restauration.

Michael,

Yes, your bearing tube should have a fixed hex head at the right hand end (as you sit on the bike). This retains the 'shell' bearing upon which your mudguard plate fits. The screw on portion of the 'bearing tube' should be on the left hand, brake plate side, I believe!

Yes, Michael,
                    Your bearing sleeve has been fitted from the wrong side of the hub. The collar (with the holes) should be inside the brakedrum. With regard to Steve's comment that the sleeve should have a hex head - Mr Douglas made 2 types (they are interchangeable) - one had the hex head, the other just had 2 flats. If you try to unscrew the collar, be warned - it has a left hand thread!
