Further to my last question with regard to the advance retard lever on my 1924 2 3/4hp TS I think I'd like to try to retime the magneto (EIC). This will involve removing the main engine timing cover behind the carburettor to get access to the magneto drive sprocket.
Can anyone confirm that this can be done with the engine in situ and is it just a matter of removing the slot headed screws, or do the two hex head bolts also need to be removed?
