thrust bearing
« on: 19 Jun 2016 at 12:15 »
made up some throwout bearing plates today...
did 25 holes...think next time maybe 20 holes...not enough metal between the holes...

I just took a guess at 1/4 inch balls...???  is that about right??

Yes - the S6/T6 release bearing had 20 balls at 1/4" dia.

thanks heaps for that eddie..

I,ll make some up with 20 holes..  a bit more metal for my bearing and quicker around the circle for me...

the drawing (picture) I was working off...could only really see part of the circle...just sort of guessed at it

they are pretty easy to make
