piston rings
« on: 15 Mar 2016 at 18:48 »
Can anybody tell me where I can obtain a set of 20thou oversize piston rings for my 1949 Mk3. Bores and pistons are OK but due to accident I require a set of new rings.

I think you can get a set at Douglas club spares Dick Bradley, but you have to be club member.
But may be, there is something wrong at the moment.
I´m waiting for an answer to an order since several weeks.

Michael,
Did you contact Dick via the link on the Club's website? If so, it may not have got to him - there seems to be a problem with the link. Try again using the email address as printed in the New Conrod.
   Regards,
                 Eddie.

Hi Guys, I have tried the club spares but apparently they have no stock, I don't know if this is temporary or permanent. Would like to get my hands on a set as I want the bike on the road A.S.P.
