G'day all.
I am off to Ballarat Swapmeet in a couple of weeks and decided to take a bit of gear with me including a couple of Douglas OB fuel tanks, one good the other not so good!
Photos here..

G'day Jeff.
This tank is for an OB model….no where near a DT!
Don't think it would suit at all.
Willing to sell no problem and deliver to Ballarat but again I don't think it would suit.
Howard.

Yes Howard the OB tank is over 6 1/2 deep at the front where the DT tank is only 4 1/2 ins. My friend Doug Mclachlan at launceston is in the process of having a DT tank made but if there is a chance there you would need to provide all the soldered fittings.
regards Alan
PS OH NO I meant Bob My old friend Doug has long gone from the scene passing the DT to Bob

The OB tank will go nowhere near fitting your DT Jeff. The DT tank would be quite straightforward to make for anyone with the skills, I'd chase up Alan's suggestion if I were you
