Have you tried the new Drafts feature yet? I just lost a long message today and learned my lesson. It is a good idea to save a draft of any long post you are writing. You can then just keep writing and keep saving a draft, knowing you have a backup if there is a glitch. The draft is automatically deleted when you post the message.

Hello  I am Ueli from Switzerland and just found two engine. First  is a OE ,24/25 and I like to have a picture to know what I have to look for parts. Second is just a pice of parts but where it comes from? What type of engine?

cheers

David Lawrence

Hi Ueli,
The complete engine is definitely from the OB range the engine number places it fairly late in the production the highest number we have in the Douglas register is in the low 800X range making it 1924, if you find a frame the correct number should be HF with just three digits anywhere between 100 and 950.
The pile of bits is possibly the remains of an S1 model, if you care to give the engine number from the crankcase we could tell you more precisely, if you prefer you can PM me directly via the email ikon.
Good luck with the hunting!
