Does anyone have the specifications for the oil inlet valve spring for early 2 3/4 engines - Part number 424.   I have tried to order one from the club spares but apparently Jeff Swan is indisposed at the moment.

Have you tried the new Drafts feature yet? I just lost a long message today and learned my lesson. It is a good idea to save a draft of any long post you are writing. You can then just keep writing and keep saving a draft, knowing you have a backup if there is a glitch. The draft is automatically deleted when you post the message.

Question to all 2 3/4HP TS runners out there .....  has anyone had any experience with the new long reach KLG ML50 spark plug. Recommendations ? comments?

Best Regards
Chris

Although I have not tried the ML50 on my TS I have used one in my single cylinder veteran car and just did 4000kms over the last month without removing it.

Interesting - anyone know what heat range they compare to in NGK ? I have been using the NGK AB6 but would prefer a long reach plug for many of my bikes

Cheers !

I know there has been the discussion of using the 14mm plugs with reducers fitted however  I just thought maybe someone may have tried these.

It may be the case where I just simply try and then let you guys know.....

Ian

We have used the reducers with NGK ES plugs - the one advantage of that is the TS usually seem to run differently front and back cylinders so you can put different heat ranges in. We are back to the 18mm plugs now though

I've run the ML50 plugs in various machines which will take a 3/4" reach plug. In the 1914 Radco two stroke the improvement in performance over a 1/2" reach Champion D16 was very noticeable. Make sure to measure before using a long reach plug!
