T35 crash bar dimension
« on: 17 Jun 2014 at 12:51 »
Hi,
The crash bars on my t35 have clearly done their job over the years and they are now slightly different shapes. You only really notice this when viewed from the front or rear but I want to get them at least the same.
I would certainly appreciate it if one of my fellow T35 owners could measure the distance between the centreline of the lower fixing hole to the centreline of the upper fixing yoke holes so I can get mine back to the correct shape.
Best regards
Clinton

Hi Clinton,
I am unsure if you are a member of the Douglas Club, if so you should try and make the annual rally this coming Sunday,
I am sure there will be a few T35's present, hopefully with fitted unbent crash bars!! I am sure the owners would not have any objection to you measuring them.
If you are not a member and would like to come along please email me directly through the Forum, use the envelope ikon as this will get directly to my home email address.
Dave

Hi Dave,
Thanks for your reply.
Yes I am a Member of the club, unfortunately I can not attend the rally.
I will decide which of the crash bars look the best aesthetically and bend the other to the same form.
Have a great weekend
Clinton
