I would say definitely Douglas, Similar looking front stands were fitted to both models, I am not sure about any dimensional differences though!

TS front stands had a shaped end lug to prevent it turning over beyond a certain point. I cannot speak for EW but plain circular end lugs like those shown were certainly used on S6 and derivative models. The recessed end bracket where it is clamped to the rear of the front mudguard was a general feature of most Douglas front stands. Chris.

Could be, as others pointed out they are the atypical Douglas design. They match the style of what was used at the front of the EW. The EW front stand is 14-5/16 inches from the center of the eyelet to the center of the cross-tube.

The front stand is definitely for a Douglas EW 1925-27 (maybe more)

Thanks everyone - the length is as specified by Doug so EW it is (at least). Yell if you're in Australia and need one; I suspect the cost of postage to far off places would be higher than the value of the item.
