Gavin I have a 25 cw nearing completion and have never posted images on this forum (not needed to and really need to work out how to). Sitting on the bike looking down at the handlebars, twin fine carby hand control throttle/air top right front brake lever bottom right. Across the bar, magneto top left, then bottom left twin hand levers control clutch top, valve decompressor bottom.
Hope this helps Frank.

I've been doing a bit of study on the levers used by OHV Douglases of the mid 1920s, and it seems they were mostly made by the Bowden Wire Co. The double lever probably came with the carburettor, so an AMAC carb would likely use and AMAC double lever.

Perhaps someone has a very original CW, and can tell us more about the levers? The post-1918 Bowden trademark, shown in the advert below, is stamped on vintage Bowden levers. (Bow + D + N = Bowden, get it?)

Hi, not sure if the attached photo will be of any help. It is of my father William, on his CW.

HI Frank, Leon and Roy, many thanks for your replies re the controls mounting on the H/bar. It all helps towards finishing the resto, although still a long way to go with the bike.
