Does anyone have the specifications for the oil inlet valve spring for early 2 3/4 engines - Part number 424.   I have tried to order one from the club spares but apparently Jeff Swan is indisposed at the moment.

Have you tried the new Drafts feature yet? I just lost a long message today and learned my lesson. It is a good idea to save a draft of any long post you are writing. You can then just keep writing and keep saving a draft, knowing you have a backup if there is a glitch. The draft is automatically deleted when you post the message.

My Mk-V (1951) has only the "Douglas" name on the petrol tank, but in pictures of other owners bikes I see that there may have been decals located on the tool box lids....anyone out there have a source for such decals?  Jeff

If you are a member of LDMCC the club carries most transfers.

The vmcc has a shop and amongst the consumer goodies also available at many other 'trash' outlets they actually sell something usefull - transfers you have to search a bit because its not alphbetical and there are a lot of makes
of course you should get them from LDMCC  but I supppose you cant be a member of all clubs

Thanks fellows, I will check those resources right away, in fact I am in the process of joining the LDMCC as we speak, I just filled out the application...many thanks!

I went to the VMCC as recommended and found the correct decals I need...many thanks for that tip!
